U.S. Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County Closed for Bridge Replacement

Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as construction crews replace the bridge over Erlinde Creek. Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 a.m. with completion anticipated Tuesday, Dec. 1. While work is underway, this section of roadway will remain closed.
